Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the iconic Trophy Point Amphitheater for the West Point Independence Day Celebration – featuring patriotic music, family-friendly fun, and a spectacular fireworks finale!

In attendance will be the new cadets of the Class of 2030, representing the future of Army leadership and the continuation of a proud tradition of service. As always, this concert concludes with a spectacular fireworks display overlooking the Hudson River!

Trophy Point & Surrounding Areas

• 3 p.m. – Concessions open

• 4:50 p.m. – Reading of the Declaration of Independence

• 3–7:30 p.m. – Community activities: Kid’s Fun Zone featuring bounce houses and a variety of sporting activities.

• ~ 6:30-6:50 p.m. – World War II replica plane flyover

• ~ 7–7:50 p.m. – Class of 2030 march-in and West Point Band concert begins

• ~ 9 p.m. – Concessions close

• ~ 9:15 p.m. – Fireworks!

 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 & 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬:

Concessions will be available at multiple locations around Trophy Point, food options to include summer favorites:

• Grilled Chicken kebabs, cheeseburger wraps, walking tacos, bbq street corn and more

• Both alcoholic (wine, draft beer) and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

• Ice cream, candy & snacks.  

• Additionally, food trucks will be on site offering a variety of options.

*Cash, credit card, and apple/google pay will be accepted.

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨:

• General parking available at Buffalo Soldier Field, K-Lot, Thayer Roof, Thayer Road, and Ike Hall lots.

• Handicap parking: Available in Clinton Lot, Double Day, Malik Stadium, and Clinton Place (behind Kosciuszko Monument). Must enter through Thayer Gate.

• No parking on Thayer Extension; Building 639, or at the First-Class Club parking lot.

• Cullum Road (from Quarters 101 intersection to Clinton Lot), Howard Road, and Pitcher Road will be closed from 2 p.m. until after the concert.

• Ruger Road (from Quarters 101 intersection to the Traffic Circle) will be one-way traffic from 2 p.m. until after the concert.

• Expect heavier traffic at all gates. Washington Gate will open at 12 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.

• The U.S. Army Garrison West Point/ West Point Band/ USMA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items, so please do not leave your areas unattended. To ensure clear access for all guests, please avoid setting up seating, blankets, or saving spaces on or overlapping walkways and sidewalks.

• Safety and Security are of paramount concern. As a reminder, please do not offer food, drinks, or give any items to the new cadets. No unapproved solicitation. Remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity to the Provost Marshal’s Office at (315) 774-9330.
