Staff Sergeant Christopher Barnes began his enlisted career in the Army in 2011 as a saxophone player. In 2014, he attended the Naval Sound Reinforcement Course to begin his work as an audio engineer. He has previously served as a music support technician instructor at the Army School of Music, Production NCOIC and saxophone player for both the 282nd Army Band at Fort Jackson and the Army Ground Forces Band at Fort Bragg, and as a saxophone player in the Maneuver Center of Excellence Band at Fort Benning.
