“Eternal Melodies” is a program that honors music’s power to preserve memories, celebrate heroism, and connect generations. From the high-energy electronics of Mason Bates’ “Mothership” to the lush Americana of “Shenandoah,” each piece reflects a lasting legacy. The concert opens with “Eternal Flame” by Brian Balmages, a tribute to the only eternal flame memorial dedicated to Medal of Honor recipients. Trumpeters Staff Sgts. Bill Owens and Carl Stanley dazzle in the virtuosic “Napoli,” while vocalist Staff Sgt. Francisco Aisporna brings heart and soul to beloved classics including “Cry Me a River” and “America the Beautiful.” Join us for an evening of stirring solos, sweeping soundscapes, and timeless melodies.
