Staff Sergeant Brandon Von earned a Bachelor of Music in 2021 and Master of Music in 2023 from Boston University, studying under Robert Patterson. Before joining the band, he earned a Graduate Artist Certificate from the University of North Texas, studying under Dr. Phillip O. Paglialonga, where he served as a graduate teaching assistant, performing and competing with the University’s Center Woodwind Quintet. Staff Sgt. Von has freelanced with local orchestras and taught privately in the Boston and Dallas areas. During his free time, Staff Sgt. Von enjoys exploring local cities and towns, discovering new restaurants, video gaming, and spending time with family and friends.
