Sergeant Major Eric Garcia joined the West Point Band in 2006. A native of Hendersonville, Tennessee, he earned a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University, where he studied with Michael Burritt and Jim Ross. Sgt. Maj. Garcia continued his studies at Cleveland State University as a student of Tom Freer. While serving in the Army, Sgt. Maj. Garcia completed a Master of Business Administration from Marist College.
