Sergeant Major Jeremy Schlegel joined the West Point Band in 2008. He began his enlisted career in August of 2005, assigned to the U.S. Army Medical Command Band at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, where he served as the personnel and administration branch chief and performed as principal trumpet in the Concert Band, Jazz Combo, and Rock Band. Outside his duties with the band, he volunteers with local community organizations, including the Higher Ground Men’s Group, Men of St. Joseph, and the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Choir.
