
Staff Sergeant Evan Curatolo joined the West Point Band in 2025. Originally from Frankfort, Illinois, he earned a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music. His primary teachers included Bonita Boyd, Lorna McGhee, Alberto Almarza, and Anne Harrow. Prior to joining the band, Staff Sgt. Curatolo held substitute positions with the New World Symphony and the Fox Valley Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, he received first prize in the 2024 Pittsburgh Concert Society Major Artist Competition with his flute and harp duo. Additionally, he has been featured on numerous studio recordings with the Eastman Wind Ensemble and can be heard on the album “Brightening Air,” published in 2022.
